He briefly showed dry mounted photographs on foamcore of existing buildings on Grand Street as part of his nuanced rationalization with regard to the new proposal's contextual sensitivity to the Cast Iron District.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Otherwise, they claimed the new building is the same as the previous proposal -  except that the number of units has been reduced from 22 to 16 and a 4'6" setback at the retail level had been reclaimed by the developer. Additionally the windows opened in such a way that a rooftop crane wasn't required for window washing. Finally, in response to a question from a member of Community Board 2 regarding the facade screen acting as a a balcony in conjunction with operable windows, Doug drew on his modernist lexicon and digressed about Juliet Balconies which he concluded these weren't.
